Come meet my amazing extended family of men, the Protectors and the Barrettis!
Since all of my series cross over with one another, I've gotten many requests to bundle my bestselling books by reading order. Thus, A Family Chosen was born! These bundles tell the stories of men and women from my Protectors, Barretti, Escort and Finding series. Although each story was written so it could be read as a standalone, much more enjoyment can be gained by reading the books in order. You'll meet secondary characters who ultimately get their own books and you will understand the history behind each family of men when their series start to cross over with one another. Although there are 3 M/F and 1 M/M/F books within the bundles, you can skip them if you want. The remaining books are all M/M and M/M/M.
The first volume introduces you to some of the guys from my Protectors series. In subsequent volumes, you will meet my guys from the other series.

I enjoyed most all of the books in this collection. I do have to say that I pretty much hated Gabe and Riley's book (Escorts #1). I found it to be boring when it should have been exciting and the sheer number of coincidence needed to get things done stretched beyond my ability to suspend my disbelief.Other than that book, however, I found Shane and Savannah's story to be very powerfully told. Dom and Logan were delightful, and I realized that I had read the two Finding books years ago and remembered liking them a lot, but I had forgotten who the author was, so they had gotten lost in my kindle library. I was glad to be able to revisit these characters and now also be able to tie them into the larger cast of characters.

Gabriel’s Rule It was nice to see a romantic female protagonist who didn’t have a perfect body. As far as storyline went, this had the darkest twist at the end. M/F.
Shane’s Fall Kennedy always writes angsty stories for this series, but this felt like she was pulling the rape card a lot after the first book. I also didn’t care for Shane. He seemed too artificial with Savannah. M/F.
Logan’s Need This was the second best out of the group. It was both heartbreaking and heartwarming. Logan & Dom made a great couple with lots of chemistry right from the start. M/M.
Finding Home Although Finn & Callan’s relationship was years in the making & felt real, they both fell in love with Rhys too fast. I also don’t always care for menages & this one wasn’t particularly good. M/M/M.
Finding Trust This was my favorite of the book because I felt like the characters had the most chemistry, even if it was insta-love. Jax seemed to be a family man under his tough exterior. Dane needed someone who believed in him. M/M.
The proofreading on this book was terrible. Kennedy’s books are often bad; she doesn’t seem to feel that we as readers deserve a polished or professional product. For that reason, I’d never recommend buying her work, though it’s ok for KU. There were a ton of missing commas, sometimes multiple times per page. Kennedy doesn’t seem to know the rule about using a comma before a proper name when addressing a person, nor does her proofreader, if she even has one. Kennedy misspelled “hypocrites” to hilarious effect. Apparently Riley’s parents are collectively a famous Greek physician of antiquity.
Overall, I read these as placeholders between better books. They’re fine for that but otherwise not worth buying. There are much better security company series out there, like Ward Security and Four Kings.
In the process of binge reading these books and all I can say is they're well done. They leave me laughing at the antics and then wiping away happy tears at the end.
Ms. Kennedy continues to write great characters & stories that draw you in and keep you glued in until the end. Highly recommend
Kennedy is a fantastic writer. All of her series are wonderful. This is another great collection from her multiple series.
I've how this book shows that family comes in all shapes and sizes. It is often who we choose as family and not those who share our blood that often mean the most.
I loved each book in this volume and I’m so happy I bought them all so o can continue. I recommend picking the volume.
Didn’t take me long to devour this series as I couldn’t have been more captivated by these characters, definitely kept me intrigued!
